Bearkat Softball Complex
The Bearkat Softball Complex is the home stadium for the Division I (NCAA) Sam Houston State Bearkats softball team. Located next to the Bowers Stadium on the campus of Sam Houston State University Sam Houston State University (SHSU or Sam) is a public university in Huntsville, Texas. Northwestern State Lady Demons Softball
The Northwestern State Lady Demons softball team represents Northwestern State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Southland Conference. The Lady Demons are currently led by head coach Donald Pickett. The team plays its home games at Lady Demon Diamond located on the university's campus. In 2013, the Lady Demons' home field, Lady Demon Diamond, received a $466,000 renovation including a partially covered grandstand with chairback seating, a new press box, and concession stand. Elliott T. Bowers Stadium is a 12,593-seat multi-purpose stadium in Huntsville, Texas. The stadium has been home to the Sam Houston State University Bearkats football since 1986.
