Bear River High School
Bear River High School is a public high school in the Nevada Joint Union High School District in Grass Valley, California, United States. It is located across the street from Lake of the Pines. It had approximately 300 graduates in the 2006–2007 school year, for a 98.5% graduation rate. 52.1% completed CSU/UC prep. 90.6% of the students self-identified as white. Its camaraderie-focused music program, a highlight of the school's culture is known for its successes in various competitions and school-based concerts, most notably, Fantasy of Stars, featuring many of its best musical groups. Its show group, Starlite, is also a unique attribute to Bear River High School, as it is a talented show choir, but with band members rather than a backing track. Grass Valley is a city in Nevada County, California, United States. Situated at roughly in elevation in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, this northern Gold Country city is by car from Sacramento, from Sacramento International Airport, west of Reno, and northeast of San Francisco. The Academic Performance Index (API) was a measurement of academic performance and progress of individual schools in California, United States. The API was one of the main components of the Public Schools Accountability Act passed by the California State Legislature in 1999. The school currently serves about 700 students living between Auburn, Grass Valley, and Alta/ Dutch Flat. Colfax (formerly Alden Grove, Alder Grove, Illinoistown, and Upper Corral) is a city in Placer County, California, at the crossroads of Interstate 80 and State Route 174. John Joseph Cardiel (born December 14, 1973) is a former professional skateboarder and snowboarder who has been a core member of the AntiHero Skateboards company since it was founded in 1995. Adrian Molina
Adrian Molina (born August 23, 1985) is an American animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, director, and lyricist. He has been at Pixar since 2007, where he started as a 2D animator on ''Ratatouille''. He later moved on to be a storyboard artist, working on ''Toy Story 3'' and '' Monsters University''. After writing for ''The Good Dinosaur'', Molina started his first assignment as a screenplay writer, for '' Coco'', and later went on to co-direct the film.
