Robert Brooks Beall (born April 24, 1948) is a former professional American baseball player who played Major League Baseball for the Atlanta Braves (, -) and the Pittsburgh Pirates in (). He played in a total of 148 games in his four-year Major League career, leaving with .231 average. Early years Beall graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1966, where he won a state championship his senior year. Reasin Beall
Reasin Beall (December 3, 1769February 20, 1843) was an American politician. He was an Ohio Congressman and a Militia General during the War of 1812. Beall was born in 1769 in Frederick County in the Province of Maryland (in the portion of which would be later separated as Montgomery County in 1776), and his family moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania during his youth. He married Rebecca Johnson ca. 1792. In about 1801, he and his family moved to Ohio, settling initially at Steubenville. He later moved from Jefferson County to New Lisbon, in Columbiana County, Ohio. Military career In 1790, Beall joined the military and participated in the Northwest Indian War in the Ohio Valley. He was on General Anthony Wayne's staff where he became acquainted with then Captain William Henry Harrison. In Columbiana County, Ohio, he became a Colonel of the Militia. Mountain Ridge High School is a high school in Frostburg, Maryland, United States, that houses over 1000 students from the Georges Creek Valley, the Greater Frostburg vicinity, and the Westernport region. Mountain Ridge is part of Allegany County Public Schools. The school mascot is a ''miner'' and the school colors are red, black, white and gold. 3 Bealls Holding Corp. was an American chain of department stores, owned by Stage Stores Inc. and headquartered in Houston, TX. The store specialized in retailing desirable brand name apparel, accessories, cosmetics, footwear, and housewares. On May 11, 2020, it was announced that Stage had filed for bankruptcy and they soon began liquidating all locations. The chain overlapped with the Florida-based Bealls chain, although the two were not related. In markets where the two chains overlapped, the Florida chain operates as Burkes Outlet instead. However, on October 21, 2020, as part of winding-down its operations, Stage sold its intellectual property, including the national rights to use the Bealls name, to the Florida Bealls for $7 million. Bealls Inc. is an American retail corporation with headquarters located in Bradenton, Florida, since its founding in 1915, the family-owned corporation now operates more than 650 stores under the names of Bealls, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet, and Home Centric. The CEO of Bealls Inc. is Matt Beall. Bealls Florida was not affiliated with the Texas-based Bealls chain formerly owned by Stage Stores, although the two overlapped in some markets. Beallsville is a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States and part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area since 1950. The population was 392 at the 2020 census. Beall Woods State Park is an Illinois state park on bordering the Wabash River and Keensburg in Wabash County, Illinois in the United States. of the state park is an old-growth forest designated as a ''Natural Area'' by the state of Illinois. The trees within the forest consist overwhelmingly of hardwoods of the former Eastern Woodlands ecosystem. Portions of Beall Woods State Park have been designated a National Natural Landmark as the ''Forest of the Wabash''. The state park was created in 1966. The nearest towns with any sizable commercial infrastructure, including hotels and grocery stores, are Grayville and Mount Carmel. Beall Island is a rocky island with small coves indenting the eastern and western sides, lying south-west of the Bailey Peninsula, in the Windmill Islands on the Budd Coast of Antarctica. There are several small lakes on the island. It was first mapped from aerial photos taken by the USN's Operation Highjump and Operation Windmill in 1947 and 1948. William Beall
William Nelson Rector Beall (March 20, 1825 – July 25, 1883) was a brigadier general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. He is most noted for his supply efforts on behalf of Confederate prisoners of war. Early life and career William N. R. Beall was born in Bardstown, Kentucky on March 20, 1825. His parents moved from Kentucky to Little Rock, Arkansas where Beall was raised. After graduating 30th in his class from the United States Military Academy in 1848, Beall was commissioned in the United States Army as a brevet second lieutenant with the U.S. 4th Infantry Regiment.
