Başak Parlak (born 3 November 1989) is a Turkish actress and model. After Ottoman Empire collapsed, her maternal family is of Turkish descent who immigrated from Greece. Her paternal family is of Turkish descent who immigrated from Bulgaria. After he was cast in popular series such as '' Doktorlar'', '' Emret Komutanım'', '' Acı Hayat'', '' Papatyam''. The breakthrough in her career came in 2007 with a role in the TV series '' Fikrimin İnce Gülü'' based from novel. She had leading role in period series Yamak Ahmet. In 2013, she had a leading role in the movie ''Şevkat Yerimdar'' and reprised the role in its 2016 sequel ''Şevkat Yerimdar 2: Bizde Sakat Çok''. In 2017, she portrayed the character of Seda in the TV series ''Kış Güneşi'', which lasted for 18 episodes. Tekirdağ (; see also its other names) is a city in Turkey. It is located on the north coast of the Sea of Marmara, in the region of East Thrace. In 2019 the city's population was 204,001. Tekirdağ town is a commercial centre with a harbour for agricultural products (the harbour is being expanded to accommodate a new rail link to the main freight line through Thrace). It is also home to Martas and the BOTAŞ Terminal, both of them important for trade activities in the Marmara Region. The town's best known product remains Tekirdağ rakı although it is also known for its cherries, celebrated with a festival every June. The proximity of the Greek and Bulgarian borders means that there are honorary consulates for both countries in Tekirdağ town. Ferries from Tekirdağ sail to the nearby Marmara Islands during the summer. Turhan Sultan
Turhan Hatice Sultan ( ota, تورخان سلطان, "''nobility of the Khan''" or ''mercy of the Khan'' " and "''respecful lady''"; 1627 – 4 August 1683) was the first Haseki Sultan of the Ottoman Sultan Ibrahim (reign 1640–48) and Valide Sultan as the mother of Mehmed IV (reign 1648–87). Turhan was prominent for the regency of her young son and her building patronage. She and her mother-in-law, Kösem Sultan, are the only two women in Ottoman history to be regarded as official regents and had supreme control over the Ottoman Empire.
