Baylor Bears Football Statistical Leaders
The Baylor Bears football statistical leaders are individual statistical leaders of the Baylor Bears football program in various categories, including passing, rushing, receiving, total offense, defensive stats, and kicking. Within those areas, the lists identify single-game, single-season, and career leaders. The Bears represent the Baylor University in the NCAA's Big 12 Conference. Although Baylor began competing in intercollegiate football in 1898, the school's official record book considers the "modern era" to have begun in 1945. Records from before this year are often incomplete and inconsistent, and they are generally not included in these lists. Nick Florence
Nicolas Daryl Florence (born June 21, 1989) is a former American football quarterback for the Baylor Bears. High school career Florence attended South Garland High School in Garland, Texas. During this career, he threw for 8,001 yards and 87 touchdowns. He was rated a three-star recruit by the Rivals.com recruiting service, and ranked as the 22nd-best dual-threat quarterback recruit in his class by Rivals. College career As a true freshman in 2009, Florence started the season as the third-string quarterback. After injuries to Robert Griffin III and Blake Szymanski, Florence took over as the starter and started seven of the next nine games. Playing their 116th football season, this was the team's first in the new McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. The Bears were members of the Big 12 Conference. Bryce Petty
Bryce William Petty (born May 31, 1991) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Baylor University, and was drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Early years Petty is a member of the Chickasaw Nation. He attended Midlothian High School in Midlothian, Texas. He played football for Midlothian and was named District 15-4A Offensive Sophomore of the Year after throwing for 979 yards and four touchdowns in 2006. As a junior in 2007, Petty threw for 2,042 yards and 16 touchdowns while also rushing for 101 yards and five touchdowns, for which he was named first-team All-District 15-4A. Charlie Brewer (born November 26, 1998) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He was most recently a member of the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He previously played for the Baylor Bears, Utah Utes and the Liberty Flames. Early life and high school Brewer grew up in Austin, Texas and attended Lake Travis High School.
