Star Trek Customizable Card Game
The ''Star Trek Customizable Card Game'' is an out-of-print collectible card game based on the ''Star Trek'' universe. The name is commonly abbreviated as ''STCCG'' or ''ST:CCG''. It was first introduced in 1994 by '' Decipher, Inc.'', under the name ''Star Trek: The Next Generation Customizable Card Game''. The game now has two distinct editions, though both forms of the game have many common elements. Standard elements The standard central goal for a player of ''STCCG'' is to obtain 100 points, primarily by completing ''missions'' or ''objectives''. This is done by bringing ''personnel'', ''ships'' and ''equipment'' into play, then moving an attempting team to a mission. Once a mission attempt starts, the personnel will create away teams to encounter ''dilemmas'' which will challenge them in some way. Often if the personnel have the required ''skills'' or ''attributes'' they can overcome certain dilemmas' effects. Once the required dilemmas are passed, the personnel still ac ...

Doomtown
Doomtown: Reloaded (originally ''Deadlands: Doomtown'') is an expandable card game based on the ''Deadlands'' role-playing game. It was originally a collectible card game that ran from 1998 through 2001 and was revived as the Reloaded version in 2014. During the game, each player builds locations in the town and fights for overall control. Doomtown sets itself apart from other card games in that each card doubles as a playing card, which impacts both deck building and gameplay. Players resolve certain in-game situations (such as combat) with a hand of poker, accentuating the Old West atmosphere of the game. The game's movement rules are also noteworthy, often being compared to chess. Doomtown is also a heavily story-driven game, with many tie-ins to the events of ''Deadlands'' at-large. In both its iterations, players are given opportunities to affect the story line, such as through tournaments where players vote on characters getting to live or die. Setting and story ''De ...

War Of Factions
War is an intense armed conflict between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups such as mercenaries, insurgents, and militias. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces. Warfare refers to the common activities and characteristics of types of war, or of wars in general. Total war is warfare that is not restricted to purely legitimate military targets, and can result in massive civilian or other non-combatant suffering and casualties. While some war studies scholars consider war a universal and ancestral aspect of human nature, others argue it is a result of specific socio-cultural, economic or ecological circumstances. Etymology The English word ''war'' derives from the 11th-century Old English words ''wyrre'' and ''werre'', from Old French ''werre'' (also ''guerre'' as in modern French), in turn from the Frankish *''werra'', ultimately deriving from the Prot ...

The card game shares some similarities with ''Magic: The Gathering'' but has its own game mechanics and flavor, providing "passive" win conditions like the Enlightenment Victory, as well as a version of ''Magics goal of destroying the opponent. Games can be very long, with some matches lasting hours. A major distinctive feature of the game is the importance of the storyline: new fiction pieces advancing the story of Rokugan are published on a weekly basis, in additi ...
