Battleground (2013)
The 2013 Battleground was the inaugural WWE Battleground, Battleground professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) List of WWE pay-per-view events, event produced by WWE. The event took place on October 6, 2013, at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. Battleground was originally announced to be the new October PPV for the promotion; however, it was moved up to July the following year. It replaced WWE Over the Limit, Over the Limit, which had been previously held in May but was going to be held in October 2013. Nine matches were contested at the event, including one match on the Kickoff pre-show. The main event, which was a match for the vacant WWE Championship between Bryan Danielson, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, ended in a no contest after Big Show interfered and attacked Bryan, Orton, and the referee. Ryback Allen Reeves (né Ryan; born November 10, 1981) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE where he performed under the ring name Ryback. One of the eight finalists on WWE's '' Tough Enough 4'', Reeves later signed a developmental contract with WWE and wrestled in three of its developmental territories: Deep South Wrestling (DSW), Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), and Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). The Bella Twins
The Bella Twins were a professional wrestling tag team who performed on WWE and consisted of identical twin sisters Brie Bella and Nikki Bella (real names Brianna and Nicole). Each of the Bella Twins are a former WWE Divas Champion. Brie is the first twin in WWE history to win that title. Nikki won the title twice and remains its longest-reigning title holder. A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling that has little relationship to the rules of the amateur olympic form. "Promotion" also describes a role which entails management, advertising and logistics of running a wrestling event (''see promoter'').
