Bruce Wayne, also known by his superhero vigilante alias Batman, is a fictional Character (arts), character in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), based on the DC Comics Batman, character of the same name. The character was portrayed by Ben Affleck in Zack Snyder's 2016 superhero film ''Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'', the 2017 film ''Justice League (film), Justice League'' (as well as its Zack Snyder's Justice League, 2021 director's cut), and a cameo appearance in ''Suicide Squad (film), Suicide Squad'' (2016). DC Extended Universe
The DC Extended Universe (DCEU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films and television series produced by DC Studios and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is based on characters that appear in American comic books published by DC Comics. The DCEU also includes comic books, short films, novels, and video games.
