Melina Bath
Melina Gaye Bath (born 18 December 1966) is an Australian politician and former schoolteacher, who is a Nationals member of the Victorian Legislative Council representing the Eastern Victoria Region. Bath studied a science degree and diploma of education at the University of Melbourne and was a mathematics and science teacher at Mirboo North Secondary College. Prior to teaching, she ran a health food store in Leongatha for twelve years. In March 2015, she was preselected by the National Party to replace Danny O'Brien, who had resigned his seat in the Legislative Council's Eastern Victoria Region to contest the lower house seat of Gippsland South at the 2015 Gippsland South state by-election, following the retirement of the long-standing MP, Peter Ryan. Thomas Bath
Thomas Henry Bath, CBE (21 February 1875 – 6 November 1956) was an Australian politician, trade unionist, newspaper editor, writer, and cooperativist. A member of the Labor Party, he served as a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly between 1902 and 1914 for the constituencies of Hannans, Brown Hill and Avon, and was also Minister for Education for a period of 79 days in 1905, and Leader of the Opposition between 1906 and 1910. In later life, Bath was involved in the establishment of the University of Western Australia, and also initiated several agricultural cooperatives. Philip Michael Bath (born 7 October 1956) is a British clinician scientist. He is Stroke Association Professor of Stroke Medicine at the Stroke Trials Unit within the University of Nottingham. He specialises clinically in stroke and academically has established large-scale trials in treating and preventing stroke. Bath worked as a junior doctor before specialising in general medicine, stroke and hypertension. He is an Honorary Consultant Physician at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Patricia Era Bath (November 4, 1942 – May 30, 2019) was an American ophthalmologist, inventor, humanitarian, and academic. She invented an improved device for laser cataract surgery. Her invention was called Laserphaco Probe, which she patented in 1986. She also became the first woman member of the Jules Stein Eye Institute, first woman to lead a post-graduate training program in ophthalmology, and first woman elected to the honorary staff of the UCLA Medical Center. Mike Bath (born September 11, 1977) is an American college football coach and former player. He the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Indiana State University, a position he has held since the 2022 season. He served as interim head football coach at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio for the final seven games of the 2013 season, replacing the fired Don Treadwell.
