''Batflowers'' is the third studio album released by Australian singer-songwriter Megan Washington. It appeared on 28 August 2020, six years after her previous studio album, ''There There''. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2020, the album won the ARIA Award for Best Cover Art for the work by Adam Dal Pozzo, Megan Washington and Michelle Pitiris. Megan Alexanda Washington (born 7 January 1986) is an Australian musician and songwriter who has worked mononymously as Washington. Originally performing jazz music, her style shifted to indie pop and alternative rock. She has released three studio albums, '' I Believe You Liar'' (July 2010), ''There There'' (September 2014) and '' Batflowers'' (August 2020). Both ''I Believe You Liar'' and ''There There'' reached the top 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and ''Batflowers'' peaked in the top 25. Yik Nam Jason Wu (born August 2, 1993), known professionally as Rabitt, is a Grammy Award and Emmy Award nominated record producer and songwriter from Hong Kong, now based in Los Angeles, CA. Rabitt has produced and written songs for Andy Grammer, Anyma, Kiiara, Charlotte Lawrence, VÉRITÉ, Álvaro Soler, Eric Nam, Ingrid Andress, and others. The album peaked at number 5 on the ARIA Charts. Background In August 2011, a year after the release of '' I Believe You Liar'', Washington moved to Brooklyn, following her dream to live in New York City. The 2020 ARIA Music Awards are the 34th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAs) and consist of a series of awards, including the 2020 ARIA Artisan Awards, ARIA Hall of Fame Awards, ARIA Fine Arts Awards and the ARIA Awards. The ARIA Music Award for Best Cover Art, is an award presented within the Artisan Awards at the annual ARIA Music Awards. The ARIA Awards recognise "the many achievements of Aussie artists across all music genres", and have been given by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) since 1987. Samuel Dixon (born 1973, Adelaide, South Australia) is a record producer, songwriter and musician, based in London. Dixon has produced and written with artists including Adele, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, Paloma Faith and Jack Savoretti.
