Bastien Geiger (born 26 February 1985) is a Swiss former footballer. Career After leaving from his contract with FC Sion on 27 November 2008, signed on 17 December 2008 a contract by Neuchâtel Xamax, he turned also back to his youth club. Roy Hodgson (born 9 August 1947) is a former English football manager and player. He managed 22 different teams in eight countries, beginning in Sweden with Halmstads BK in the 1976 season. He later guided the Switzerland national team to the last 16 of the 1994 World Cup and qualification for Euro 1996; Switzerland had not qualified for a major tournament since the 1960s. Alain Geiger (born 5 November 1960) is a Swiss international football manager and a former defender. He is the current manager for Servette FC. He played mainly as a centre-back despite being only 1.80m in a career that lasted 20 years, and made 112 appearances at international level, being Switzerland's second most capped player behind Heinz Hermann. His son, Bastien, is also a professional footballer. Playing career Club Geiger started playing professionally in 1977 with FC Sion. He played just two matches in his first season but by 1978, he was a first-team regular in the side that went on to win the Swiss Cup in 1980.
