Bastiaan Tamminga
Bastiaan Tamminga (born June 9, 1981) is a former Dutch swimmer who specializes in the 50 m events of the backstroke, butterfly and freestyle. He trained by former world champion Marcel Wouda alongside olympic champions Maarten van der Weijden and Hinkelien Schreuder. Swimming career Tamminga made his international debut at the European SC Championships 2001 in Antwerp. In the following years he appeared on many international tournaments especially in short course. At the European SC Championships 2007 in Debrecen, Hungary he won his only international medal, a bronze, in the 4Ă—50 m medley relay alongside Nick Driebergen, Robin van Aggele and Mitja Zastrow. 2008 At the European Championships in March 2008 he finished 18th in the 50 m butterfly and 30th in the 100 m butterfly. Bastiaan Ragas
Bastiaan Johannes Ragas (born 30 June 1971) is a Dutch singer and actor. Born in Lisse, he was the youngest of three brothers. Ragas learnt piano and guitar at school. He also participated and traveled with the international musical group Up With People during their 1989-1990 tour. He first came into the public eye as a member of the Anglo-Dutch boy band Caught in the Act in the 1990s. Caught in the Act broke up in 1998 and Ragas embarked on a solo career. His first album, ''Tomorrow is Looking Good'', was released in 2000. Also in 2000, he played Radames in the Dutch production of the musical AĂŻda. He later played d'Artagnan in Joop van den Ende's 2003–2004 production of '' 3 Musketiers''. Bastiaan Zuiderent (born 3 March 1977) is a former Dutch international cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He is one of very few Dutchmen, to have appeared in six International Cricket Council events. International career At the age of 18, Zuiderent was selected in the Netherlands squad for their inaugural appearance at the Cricket World Cup in 1996. In his second World Cup match, he scored 54 against England at Peshawar. The following year, Zuiderent was selected in the Dutch squad for the 1997 ICC Trophy, but the team was unable to secure qualification for the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Bastiaan "Bas" de Gaay Fortman (born 6 November 1937) is a retired Dutch politician and diplomat of the Political Party of Radicals (PPR) and later the GreenLeft (GL) party and economist. Career before politics After attending public elementary education, he attended the Christian Gymnasium in the Hague, specialising in sciences. After graduating in 1956 he studied law and economics at the Free University of Amsterdam, receiving his Master of Law, and Doctorandus in Economy in 1963 cum laude.
