Herbert Basser
Herbert W. Basser (born 1942) is a Canadian scholar of religion and a Jewish theologian known for his work ''Studies in Exegesis: Christian Critiques of Jewish Law'' (Boston, 2000). Biography In 1963, he graduated from Yeshiva University with a Bachelor of Arts in French literature. After several years as a mathematics teacher, he continued his studies at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada earning a Master of Arts in 1979 and a Ph.D. in 1983. Basser has held the Harvard Starr Fellowship at Harvard University, taught at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the University of Toronto, and the University of California, Berkeley. Michaël Chrétien Basser
Basser Chrétien (Michaël Chrétien: ; ar, ميكائيل كريتيان بصير; born 10 July 1984) is a former footballer who played as a right-sided fullback. Born in France, he represented Morocco at international level. Career AS Nancy Chrétien joined AS Nancy at the age of five. He attended Madine academy in Meuse briefly before he made his league debut in November 2002. He became a contracted player in February 2004. In November 2006, Chrétien had a penalty saved by FC Basel striker Mladen Petrić after Basel goalkeeper Franco Costanzo was sent off in an UEFA Cup group stage match. Taha Abdul-Basser
Taha Abdul-Basser was a Muslim Chaplain at Harvard University. Early life and education Abdul-Basser was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, where he attended Prep for Prep as well as The Dalton School. His father, Hasan Abdul-Basser, converted to Islam at age sixteen upon the advice of his mentor, Malcolm X.
Abdul-Basser graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree (A.B.) in the Comparative Study of Religion in 1996. He also completed a Master's (A.M.) in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University and is an ABD from the same department.

Basser College
Basser College, University of New South Wales is a residential college at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Basser College and its two neighbouring Colleges, Goldstein and Phillip Baxter, are collectively known as the Kensington Colleges. History Basser College was founded in 1959, ten years after the opening of the University of New South Wales (UNSW), making it the oldest residential college at the University. It was built to accommodate students from rural areas, enabling them access to the same education as local, metropolitan students. The College is named after Sir Adolph Basser (1887–1965), a Polish entrepreneur and philanthropist who contributed significantly to the cost of the College's construction. The College's foundational structure was designed around two central courtyards with a small one to the north, and a larger one to the south, with a balcony running around the inside of the alcoves. Basser Library
The Basser Library is the library of the Australian Academy of Science, established in 1960 following the donation of £25,000 ($50,000), by philanthropist Sir Adolph Basser (1887–1965). The Library collects published and unpublished material documenting the history of science in Australia, with a particular emphasis on collecting biographical material about prominent scientists, and promotes related historical research. The library is open to the public by appointment. Collections Manuscript collection The manuscript collection contains 219 sets of papers, ranging from singular letters through to extensive papers covering many shelf meters.
