Vila Nova Basquete Clube is a Brazilian men's professional basketball club that is based in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil. It is a part of the sports club, multi-sports club Vila Nova Futebol Clube, Vila Nova Esporte Clube. History Vila Nova won the Brazilian Basketball Championship, Brazilian Championship title in 1973. They also competed at the 1974 Intercontinental Cup (basketball), 1974 edition of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Goiânia
Goiânia (; ) is the capital and largest city of the Brazilian state of Goiás. With a population of 1,536,097, it is the second-largest city in the Central-West Region and the 10th-largest in the country. Its metropolitan area has a population of 2,654,860, making it the 12th-largest in Brazil.
