The Basketbol Süper Ligi Mr. King, is the season scoring leader of the Turkish basketball league system, Turkish top-tier level professional sports, professional club basketball league, the Türkiye Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) (English: Turkish Basketball Super League). In basketball, points are the sum of the score accumulated through free throws or field goal (basketball), field goals. The LNB Pro A's scoring title is awarded to the player with the highest points per game average in a given regular season. Prior to the 1993–94 season, the league's Top Scorer was the player that scored the most total points in the league during the season. Since the 1993–94 season, the league's Top Scorer is the player with the highest scoring average per game during the season. Turkish Basketball League System
The Turkish basketball league system or Turkish basketball league pyramid, is a series of League system, interconnected competitions for professional basketball clubs in Turkey. The system has a hierarchical format with a promotion and relegation, promotion and demotion system between competitions at different levels. There are currently five different competitions on the pyramid: the 1st-tier Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL), the 2nd-tier Turkish Basketball First League (TBL), the 3rd-tier Turkish Basketball Second League (TB2L), the 4th-tier Turkish Men's Regional Basketball League (EBBL), and the 5th-tier Men's University League (Ünilig). Hakkı Harun Erdenay (born 27 May 1968 in Ankara) (nickname: "Pegasus") is a Turkish former professional basketball player, and former President of the Turkish Basketball Federation. As a player, he was famous for his spectacular 3-point shooting. At a height of 1.90 m (6'3") tall, he played in shooting guard and small forward positions. Professional playing career During his pro career, Erdenay was a three-time Top Scorer of the Turkish Super League, in 1990, 1993, and 2005. Paul Lamar Dawkins (June 10, 1957 – March 25, 2019) was an American-Turkish professional basketball player, who played for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA), appearing in 57 games. He was inducted into the Northern Illinois University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991. In 2007, he was also inducted into the Saginaw County, Michigan, Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame. Jerry Scott (born May 2, 1955) is an American cartoonist and writer. He is known for co-creating the comic strips '' Baby Blues'' and '' Zits''. He is one of only four cartoonists to have multiple strips appearing in over 1,000 newspapers worldwide. Career Scott started cartooning professionally in the mid-1970s by submitting gag cartoons to magazines, and he sold one from his first batch to the ''Saturday Evening Post''. In 1983, Scott was selected to succeed Mark Lasky (in the wake of Lasky's sudden death) on Ernie Bushmiller's '' Nancy''. Scott modernized the strip to his own specifications, and eventually handed it over to Guy Gilchrist in the 1990s.
