Basketball At The 2023 SEA Games
Basketball was among the sports contested at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. The tournaments did not follow FIBA eligibility rules; players only had to have citizenship of the country they sought to represent their national team in the games. This meant that every national team could field as many naturalized players or dual citizens as they wanted regardless of whether or not they had acquired their passport by the age of 16 as per FIBA rules. Arvin Dave de Leon Tolentino (born November 5, 1995) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 10th overall pick by the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the 2019 PBA draft. Early life and high school career Tolentino grew up in Angono, Rizal. He first started playing basketball at 12 years old. He was trained by a friend of his father. Throughout high school, he played for the Red Cubs of the San Beda University. Joseph Emmanuel Arinze Eriobu Jr. (born February 12, 1992) is a Filipino-Nigerian basketball player. Eriobu was a long-time player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Camille Izabel Policarpio Clarin (born May 28, 2001) is a Filipino-Canadian college basketball player. She plays for the NU Lady Bulldogs and also represents the Philippine national team in international competitions. Early life Clarin was born in Antipolo, Rizal, but grew up in Canada.
