Baskery is a Swedish alternative Americana folk rock band, comprising the three sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson. The band have released four studio albums. History The band formed in 2007 as an offshoot of The Slaptones, who featured their father Janåke Bondesson on drums, released two albums (''Simplify'', 2003, and ''Amplify'', 2004) and toured the United States with The Brian Setzer Orchestra. Baskery released an EP, ''One Horse Down'', in 2007 on Veranda Independent Records. Their first album, ''Fall Among Thieves'', was recorded with producer Lasse Mårtén using no overdubs and mainly first or second takes, with the aim of capturing as much energy as possible. The Let Me Entertain You Tour was the eleventh concert tour by English recording artist, Robbie Williams. The tour began in March 2015 in Europe and continued into Asia and Australasia, with over 40 shows. The tour grossed $27.1 million with 235,100 tickets sold. Background Shortly after the birth of his son, Williams announced the tour via YouTube. The video displays the pop singer walking around a neighbourhood in Los Angeles. He recites an updated, spoken word version of his hit, " Let Me Entertain You". Williams exclaimed the tour will visit new places or areas where he has not toured in a long time. The announcement was shortly followed with a posting on his official website. In May 2015, Williams performed in Israel for the first time, before 50,000 fans at Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv. Colin Lester Irwin (19 May 1951 – 3 November 2022) was a British music journalist. Biography He was born in Chertsey, Surrey, England, and attended Strode's Grammar School in Egham. He studied journalism at Guildford College before working at the ''Slough Evening Mail'', and becoming a patron of folk clubs from the late 1960s. He started writing on a freelance basis for music magazines before joining ''Melody Maker'' in 1974, writing mainly about British folk music and interviewing many of the notable performers of the period. The Roches
The Roches were an American vocal trio of sisters Maggie, Terre and Suzzy Roche, from Park Ridge, New Jersey. Career In the late 1960s, eldest sister Maggie (October 26, 1951 – January 21, 2017) and middle sister Terre (pronounced "Terry", born April 10, 1953) attended Park Ridge High School, but dropped out of school to tour as a duo. Maggie wrote most of the songs, with Terre contributing to a few. The sisters got a break when Paul Simon brought them in as backup singers on his 1973 album ''There Goes Rhymin' Simon''. The Dixie Chicks
The Chicks (previously known as Dixie Chicks) are an American country music band from Dallas, Texas. Since 1995, the band has consisted of Natalie Maines (lead vocals, guitar) and sisters Martie Maguire (vocals, fiddle, mandolin, guitar) and Emily Strayer (vocals, guitar, banjo, Dobro). Maguire and Strayer, both née Erwin, founded the band in 1989 in Dallas, Texas, with bassist Laura Lynch and vocalist and guitarist Robin Lynn Macy. They performed bluegrass and country music, busking and touring the bluegrass festival circuits and small venues for six years without attracting a major label.
