Baseball at the 2010 Asian Games was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China from November 13 to 19, 2010. Only a men's competition was held. All games were played at the Aoti Baseball Field. Choi Jeong
Choi Jeong (Hangul: 최정; born February 28, 1987 in Icheon, South Korea) is a third baseman who has played his whole career for the SK Wyverns (known as the SSG Landers beginning in 2021) in the Korea Baseball Organization. He bats and throws right-handed. Choi's 368 career home runs rank second on the KBO all-time list. His 294 career hit-by-pitches (HBP) is the most in the KBO as well as the world record. Kim Hyun-soo
Hyun-soo Kim (; ; born January 12, 1988) is a South Korean professional baseball outfielder for the LG Twins of the KBO League. He previously played for the Doosan Bears, and has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies. Amateur career Kim attended Shinil High School in Seoul, South Korea. In September 2005, he competed for the South Korea national junior team, that was runner-up at the 6th Asian Junior Baseball Championship in Seoul, South Korea. Kang Min-ho (Hangul: 강민호; born August 18, 1985) is a South Korean catcher who plays for the Samsung Lions in the Korea Baseball Organization. He previously played with the Lotte Giants. Kim Myung-sung (Hangul: 김명성) (born April 8, 1988) is a South Korean pitcher. He bats and throws right-handed. Kim was selected fifth overall by the Lotte Giants in the 2011 KBO Draft. Amateur career Kim was born in Seoul, and completed his mediocre high school career at Jangchung High School in Seoul, where his main position was an infielder. Kim went undrafted in the 2007 KBO Draft, and enrolled at Chung-Ang University to continue his baseball career. Kim began his collegiate career as a third baseman in , but the freshman infielder, who had a weak bat but a strong arm, converted from a position player to a pitcher. Park Kyung-oan
Park Kyung-oan (born July 11, 1972 in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea) is a former South Korean baseball catcher and former Olympic bronze medalist. A four-time Golden Glove winner, Park is considered by many to be one of the best catchers in Korean baseball history. Playing for the Ssangbangwool Raiders, the Hyundai Unicorns, and the SK Wyverns during his career, his teams won five Korean Series championships. Professional career Park started out his career as a member of the Ssangbangwool Raiders, playing for that team from 1991 to 1997, almost its entire existence. Tae-Hyon Chong (Hangul: 정대현, Hanja: 鄭 大 炫; born November 10, 1978 in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea) is a retired South Korean underhand pitcher who played 17 years Korea Professional Baseball.
