Baseball at the 2014 Asian Games was held in Incheon, South Korea from September 22 to 28, 2014. Only a men's competition was held. All games were played at the Munhak Baseball Stadium and the Mokdong Baseball Stadium. Munhak Baseball Stadium
The Incheon SSG Landers Field is a baseball stadium located in Incheon, South Korea. Formerly named the Munhak Baseball Stadium, it is the home of the KBO League team SSG Landers. The stadium has been remodeled with Shinsegae affiliate brands, including Starbucks, No Brand Burger, and the convenience store e-mart 24. The SSG Landers Field has changed its main theme color to red and yellow, which represents the team's historical color used since the SK Wyverns. Also, the red color and yellow color respectively represent Shinsegae and e-mart as well. The Stadium was serving as the filming location of SBS TV successful television series ''Hot Stove League'' that starred Namkoong Min. Oh Jae-won (born February 9, 1985) is a retired South Korean professional baseball infielder who spent his entire career with the Doosan Bears of the KBO League. He graduated from Yatap High School and was selected by the Doosan Bears in a 2003 draft, but did not join the Bears and went to college. After graduating from college, he joined the team in 2007. Bong Jung-keun (; or ; born July 15, 1980) is a South Korean former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball with the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds, and in the KBO League with the LG Twins. He batted and threw left-handed. Hyun-soo Kim (; ; born January 12, 1988) is a South Korean professional baseball outfielder for the LG Twins of the KBO League. He previously played for the Doosan Bears, and has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies. Na Sung-bum (, born October 3, 1989) is a South Korean outfielder for the Kia Tigers of the KBO League. He bats and throws left-handed. Na was selected tenth overall by the NC Dinos in the 2012 KBO Draft. Amateur career While attending Yonsei University, Na was considered the best hitting pitcher in the South Korean collegiate baseball league. Kang Min-ho (Hangul: 강민호; born August 18, 1985) is a South Korean catcher who plays for the Samsung Lions in the Korea Baseball Organization. He previously played with the Lotte Giants.
