Barış Hersek
Barış Hersek (born 26 March 1988) is a Turkish professional basketball who last played for Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi. He plays at the power forward position. Professional career Hersek started his pro career with Perteniyal, in the Turkish 2nd Division in the 2005–06 season. In 2006, he moved to the Turkish club Anadolu Efes. In 2008, he joined the Turkish club Darüşşafaka, and in 2009, he moved to the Turkish club Banvit He joined Antalya BB in 2010, and moved to Beşiktaş in 2011. He moved to Karşıyaka in 2013. He signed with Fenerbahçe in 2015. He re-signed with the Turkish club for another two years on 23 June 2017. In 2017–18 EuroLeague, Fenerbahçe made it to the 2018 EuroLeague Final Four, its fourth consecutive Final Four appearance. Eventually, they lost to Real Madrid with 80–85 in the final game. 2016-17 Turkish Basketball League
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. From this period there are three official releases: the cassette ''Buffbunker and Hardkore'' , the LP ''16-17'' (Label Rec Rec) as well as the LP '' When All Else Fails...'' (Label Vision/Praxis). Basketball At The 2013 Mediterranean Games – Men's Tournament
The basketball tournament at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin took place between 18 June and 25 June. The men's tournament was held at the Servet Tazegül Arena. A women's tournament was also planned, but was cancelled because too few teams applied. Participating nations Following nations applied to compete in men's tournament. Albania and Greece declared the withdrawal of their teams from the Games on May 10, 2013. Algeria will be participating in place of Albania. At least six nations competing is the requirement for tournament to be held. The 2013 Mediterranean Games ( tr, 2013 Akdeniz Oyunları), officially known as the XVII Mediterranean Games ( tr, XVII Akdeniz Oyunları) and commonly known as Mersin 2013, was an international multi-sport event held from 20 to 30 June 2013 in Mersin, Turkey. Mersin was announced as the host city at the General Assembly of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM) on 23 February 2011. Mersin is the second city in Turkey after İzmir to host the Mediterranean Games. All 24 member National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the ICMG participated in the Games. The official programme for the Games is featuring events in 27 different sports. The 2017 Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup ( tr, 2017 Erkekler Basketbol Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası ) was the 33rd edition of the Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup. The game was played between Fenerbahçe Doğuş, champions of the 2016–17 Basketbol Süper Ligi, and Banvit, the winners of the 2017 Turkish Cup. The Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup ( tr, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası), sometimes referred to as Turkish Basketball Super Cup, is the professional men's basketball super cup competition that takes place each year in Turkey. The competition began in the year 1985. One game is held to determine the winner of the competition. It is played between the winners of the Basketbol Süper Ligi and the winners of the Turkish Cup season. The 2019 Turkish Basketball Cup ( tr, 2019 Basketbol Erkekler Türkiye Kupası) was the 34th edition of Turkey's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The tournament was held from 13–17 February 2019 in the Ankara Arena in Ankara, Turkey. Fenerbahçe Beko won the competition by defeating Anadolu Efes 80–70 in the final.
