Bart Tanski
Bart James Tanski (born January 7, 1990) is a former American football player and current college football coach. He is the special teams coordinator and Safety (gridiron football position), safeties coach for Robert Morris University, positions he has held since 2023. He played wide receiver for the Bowling Green Falcons. He is from Mentor, Ohio and was the 2007 Mr. Football Award (Ohio), Ohio Mr. Football Award winner. Playing career High school Bart was the quarterback at Mentor High School, where he led his team to two OHSAA Division I state title games in 2006 and 2007. Bart won the Mr. Football Award in 2007; given to the best high school football player in the state of Ohio—Mentor High's first as well. Safety (gridiron Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two Halfback (Canadian football), defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. Mentor High School
Mentor High School is a public high school located in Mentor, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Mentor Exempted Village School District (informally, "Mentor Schools"). At one time, it was the largest high school in Ohio based on single building enrollment. For the 2008–2009 school year, it shifted from a three-year school (grades 10–12) to a four-year high school (grades 9–12), serving approximately 2,700 students. Mentor High School educates students from Mentor, Mentor-on-the-Lake, and parts of Kirtland Hills and Concord Township in Lake County, Ohio. The Findlay Oilers are the athletic teams that represent the University of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The 2012 Bowling Green Falcons football team represented Bowling Green State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. A scholarship is a form of financial aid awarded to students for further education.
