Barry Ferns
Barry Ferns is a British stand up comedian, writer, director, and a trained physiotherapist. Barry is also one of the founding members of Angel Comedy. He is currently developing a series of podcasts whilst performing with Angel Comedy. He has developed a comedy shorts series ''Why Are You Doing This To Me?'', films from which have been shown at the LA Comedy Film Festival and New York's Southside Film Festival. He has performed shows at the Edinburgh Festival, most recently with his show titled ''Barry Loves You'', before then he held shows on Arthur's Seat, in 2012 and 2013 he performed at the peak for the month long festival. Barry introduced the first audio tour of Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Dial-A-Sketch, and ''This Show Belongs To Lionel Richie'' for 7 years Barry changed his name to Lionel Richie for the purpose of that show. Stand Up Comedian
Stand-up comedy is a comedic performance to a live audience in which the performer addresses the audience directly from the stage. The performer is known as a comedian, a comic or a stand-up. Stand-up comedy consists of one-liners, stories, observations or a shtick that may incorporate props, music, magic tricks or ventriloquism. It can be performed almost anywhere, including comedy clubs, comedy festivals, bars, nightclubs, colleges or theatres. History Stand-up as a Western art form has its roots in the stump speech of American minstrel shows, which featured an actor in blackface delivering nonsensical monologue to the audience. While the intention of stump speeches was to mock African-Americans, they also occasionally contained political and social satire. The minstrel show would later influence theatrical traditions of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, such as vaudeville and burlesque. Angel Comedy
Angel Comedy is a free comedy night that runs seven nights a week at two pub venues in London, England; above the Camden Head and in The Bill Murray. The club was founded by Barry Ferns, Sarah Pearce, Rachael Warnes and Dec Munro, and describes itself as "making comedy more accessible for audiences and comedians". The Camden Head The comedy night was started in 2010 by comedian Barry Ferns as a weekly show with the intention of giving stage time to newer acts and allowing established professional comics to test new material. In 2012 the club was extended to run three nights per week. In April 2013, Angel Comedy held London's first week long free comedy festival, and then began running nightly. The comedy night has hosted comedians including Dara Ó Briain, Tommy Tiernan, Eddie Izzard, Russell Howard, Daniel Simonsen and Holly Walsh. Edinburgh Festival

Arthur's Seat
Arthur's Seat ( gd, Suidhe Artair, ) is an ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh, Scotland, which form most of Holyrood Park, described by Robert Louis Stevenson as "a hill for magnitude, a mountain in virtue of its bold design". It is situated just to the east of the city centre, about to the east of Edinburgh Castle. The hill rises above the city to a height of , provides excellent panoramic views of the city and beyond, is relatively easy to climb, and is popular for hillwalking. Though it can be climbed from almost any direction, the easiest and simplest ascent is from the east, where a grassy slope rises above Dunsapie Loch. At a spur of the hill, Salisbury Crags has historically been a rock climbing venue with routes of various degrees of difficulty. Edinburgh Festival Fringe
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe (also referred to as The Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, or Edinburgh Fringe Festival) is the world's largest arts and media festival, which in 2019 spanned 25 days and featured more than 59,600 performances of 3,841 different shows in 322 venues. Established in 1947 as an alternative to (and on the fringe of) the Edinburgh International Festival, it takes place in Edinburgh every August. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe has become a world-leading celebration of arts and culture, surpassed only by the Olympics and the World Cup in terms of global ticketed events. Islington
Islington () is a district in the north of Greater London, England, and part of the London Borough of Islington. E4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation.
