Cincinnati Cyclones
The Cincinnati Cyclones are a professional ice hockey team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team is a member of the ECHL. Originally established in 1990, the team first played their games in the Cincinnati Gardens and now play at Heritage Bank Center. The Cyclones are a minor league affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres (National Hockey League) and the Rochester Americans (American Hockey League). Cincinnati has fielded Cyclones teams with three separate franchises in two different leagues: the International Hockey League (1992–2001) and the ECHL (1990–1992, 2001–2004, 2006–present). Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) Players
The Utah Grizzlies are a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL. They play their home games at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. Franchise history The current Utah Grizzlies franchise started in 1981 as the Nashville South Stars in Nashville, Tennessee, in the Central Hockey League. Henry Brabham then took over the team in 1983 and relocated them to Vinton, Virginia mid-season, to become the Virginia Lancers. Brabham and the Lancers were then one of the founding members of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) in 1988. The franchise was sold and relocated several times until it went dormant after the 2002–03 season. Andrew Murray (born November 6, 1981) is a Canadian-Croatian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He ended his professional career playing two seasons for KHL Medveščak Zagreb of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Murray played college hockey for Bemidji State University for four seasons under head coach Tom Serratore where he was a three time captain and a 2005 graduate. Andrew left the program as its Division I-era scoring leader with 46-69—115 points in 128 contests ranking him seventh on the College Hockey America (CHA) career list and 30th on BSU's all-time scoring chart. Jared Ross (born September 18, 1982) is an American former professional ice hockey center. When he debuted with the Philadelphia Flyers at the beginning of the 2008–09 season, he became the first player born and trained in the state of Alabama to play in the NHL. Playing career Ross played high school hockey for Detroit Catholic Central and was a co-winner of the "Mr. Hockey" title in 2001 as the top high school player in the state of Michigan. After spending four years playing collegiate hockey with the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers, Ross made his professional debut with the Motor City Mechanics of the United Hockey League in 2005. Joe Tallari
Joe Tallari (born October 5, 1980) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Playing career Tallari was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario. In 2001, Tallari began his career playing for Niagara University where he was team's senior captain. Tallari moved to the Hartford Wolf Pack, the farm team for the New York Rangers. He stayed for just one season before moving to the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL, where he topped the 50 point margin. Over the following three seasons, Tallari switched between teams in the ECHL and the AHL, with stints at the Cleveland Barons, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (on two occasions) and the Las Vegas Wranglers. He then moved to Europe, signing with the Manchester Phoenix in the summer of 2007 to play under Tony Hand. Tallari had an outstanding season in Manchester, finishing as the EIHL's second highest goal scorer, managing 55 goals and 38 assists in 59 games.
