Barny Boatman
Barny M. P. Boatman (born 1956 in St Pancras, London) is an English professional poker player and the oldest member of the poker-playing foursome known as The Hendon Mob. He is the older brother of Ross Boatman, and resides in Archway. During his lengthy poker career, Boatman became one of the pioneers of poker on television by regularly appearing in the Late Night Poker television series. He was also the first person to reach three consecutive final tables at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), and came close to winning a WSOP bracelet. In 2013, Boatman won his first career World Series of Poker bracelet in Event #49, $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, winning $546,080. Early years Boatman grew up to socialist parents in Somerstown, London. Junes Barny ( ar, يونس بارني'' '', ; born 4 November 1989) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Jönköpings Södra. He is of Moroccan descent. Career On 13 July 2018, Barny signed a short-term deal with Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan. He scored his first goal for the club on 27 August, in a 3–2 away win against Dalkurd FF. Luís Pedro Barros Barny Monteiro (born 20 July 1966), known as Barny, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a central defender, and the manager of Egyptian club El Gouna FC. Playing career Born in Porto, Barny played 332 Primeira Liga games over the course of 13 seasons, representing mainly hometown's Boavista FC. After three years of intermittent use as a youngster and a two-year spell with C.F. Estrela da Amadora, he returned to his main club, helping it to three top-four finishes during his spell there – in between, he spent the 1992–93 campaign with Sporting CP, being first-choice. Barny retired in June 1999 at the age of 33, after three top-flight seasons with C.F. Os Belenenses and one with C.D. Aves, in his first and only second division experience. Bernard Barny De Romanet
Lieutenant Bernard Henri Barny de Romanet (28 January 1894 – 23 September 1921) was a French World War I flying ace credited with 18 aerial victories. Barny de Romanet was born in Saint-Maurice-de-Satonnay, Saône-et-Loire, and was educated at the Collège des Minimes, Chalon-sur-Saône, and then at the Collège des Montgré in Villefranche-sur-Saône, gaining his baccalauréat before going on to study at the Lycée Lamartine at Mâcon. He joined the French army in October 1913, serving in the ''16e Régiment de Chasseurs'', a cavalry unit, at the beginning of the war, later transferring to the ''56e Régiment d'Infanterie''. He transferred into the French air service in July 1915. Six months later, in January 1916, de Romanet received his brevet (permit) as a pilot.
