Barh Signaka ( ar, بحر سينياكا) is one of four departments in Guéra, a region of Chad. Its capital is Mongo. Barh Signaka Department has a population of 118,620 (2016 survey) and 495 villages. The Republic of Chad is made up of twenty-three regions. Chad was divided into regions in 2002. It was previously divided into prefectures, and then departments. Chad
Chad (; ar, تشاد , ; french: Tchad, ), officially the Republic of Chad, '; ) is a landlocked country at the crossroads of North and Central Africa. Mongo (Arabic: مونقو, Mūnqū) is a city and sub-prefecture in Chad, the capital of the region of Guéra. Located in the northern part of the region, it lies 252.2 miles (406 km) by road east of the capital N'Djamena. It is served by Mongo Airport. Tele-Nugar Iron Mines
The iron mines of Tele-Nugar are located approximately 155 km south of the regional center of Melfi, in Barhr Signaka Department, Guera Region, Chad.Les curieuses mines de fer de Télé-Nugar - UNESCO World Heritage Centre Retrieved 2009-02-25.
