Bardel Entertainment, Inc. is a Canadian animation studio founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1987. The studio's name comes from its founders, Barry Ward and his wife Delna Bhesania. Bardel is involved in the acquisition, development, production and distribution of animated programming. ''Dog City'' is an animated television series that was produced by Nelvana Limited and Jim Henson Productions in association with Channel 4, Global Television Network, FORTA and Canal+ Spain and aired on Fox Kids from September 26, 1992, to November 26, 1994, and in Canada on YTV until 2000. The show contained both animation by Nelvana, and puppetry by Jim Henson Productions, similar to Little Muppet Monsters. ''Tales from the Cryptkeeper'' is an animated horror children's television series made by Canadian studio Nelvana. The series was broadcast on YTV in Canada and on ABC in the United States, and on ITV in the United Kingdom. It was based on the 1950s EC Comics series ''Tales from the Crypt'' and the live action television series of the same name, which aired concurrently on HBO. Intended for children, ''Tales from the Cryptkeeper'' was significantly milder than its live action version and all blood and gore, profanity and sexual content were completely removed in order to target the audience. Most episodes take place within the fictional city of Gravenhurst, California. Fievel's American Tails
''Fievel's American Tails'' is an animated television series, produced by Amblimation, Nelvana, and Universal Cartoon Studios. It aired on CBS for one season in 1992, and continued Fievel's adventures from the film '' An American Tail: Fievel Goes West''. Phillip Glasser, Dom DeLuise and Cathy Cavadini were the only actors from the film to reprise their roles, as Fievel, Tiger and Tanya respectively. One character, Wylie Burp, is written off from this show following the respect of James Stewart's retirement. Another character, Tony Toponi, is written off following Pat Musick's then-current parenting of her daughter Mae Whitman, as Tony could not reappear until the DTV sequels in the late 1990s.
