Barbary Coast (TV Series)
''Barbary Coast'' is an American television series that aired on ABC. The pilot film first aired on May 4, 1975 and the series itself premiered September 8, 1975; the last episode aired January 9, 1976. Synopsis ''Barbary Coast'' features the adventures of 19th century government agent Jeff Cable (played by William Shatner), and his pal, conman and gambler Cash ("Cash makes no enemies") Conover (Doug McClure; played by Dennis Cole in the pilot) who is the owner of the Golden Gate Casino. This was Shatner's first live-action series since ''Star Trek'' (also produced by Paramount Television). In their battle against various criminals and foreign spies, Cable and Conover operated out of the latter's saloon and casino located on San Francisco's notorious Barbary Coast neighborhood which featured casinos, prostitution and high rates of crime. The Original Series

The ABC Sunday Night Movie
''The ABC Sunday Night Movie'' is a television program that aired on Sunday nights, first for a brief time in 1962 under the title ''Hollywood Special'' (although ''Time'' magazine lists this version as ''The Sunday Night Movie'') to supposedly replace an open time slot for the TV show ''Bus Stop'', which was cancelled after March 1962. It then began airing regularly under its more commonly known title from late 1964 to 1998, on ABC. Since 2004, it has aired sporadically as a special program, now titled the ''ABC Sunday Movie of the Week'', though as of the 2011-12 television season, the only films in this timeslot were aired under the ''Hallmark Hall of Fame'' banner, which transferred to ABC in that season. John Florea
John Florea (born in Alliance, Ohio on May 28, 1916; died in Las Vegas on August 25, 2000) was an American television director and a photographer. Career Florea started as a photographer for the San Francisco Examiner, then was signed onto the staff of LIFE in 1941, living in Hollywood and specializing in celebrity portraits of actresses, such as Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor which led to U.S. involvement in World War II he joined America's first war correspondents for the Pacific war, where he covered the Marines and the Navy, especially during the Battle of Tarawa in December 1943, and from 1944 until the end of the war, he followed the American army in French and Belgian campaigns, documenting the bombing of German cities and liberation of inmates of Nordhausen Nazi concentration camp. Howard Berk
Howard Berk (c. 1925 - March 27, 2016) was an American novelist, screenwriter, and producer. Early life Berk was born circa 1925. He graduated from the University of Georgia. Career Berk worked as a reporter for ''The Havana Herald'' in Cuba in the 1950s. He also worked for the Associated Press. He taught at his alma mater, the University of Georgia, and he authored four novels. Berk wrote several episodes of television series ''Columbo'', '' Mission: Impossible'', and ''McMillan & Wife''. Harold Livingston
Harold Livingston (September 4, 1924 – April 28, 2022) was an American novelist and screenwriter who was best known as the credited screenwriter for ''Star Trek: The Motion Picture'' (1979). Others, including Alan Dean Foster and Gene Roddenberry, also contributed to the development of the story and script. Before his career as a writer, Livingston was a radio operator for aircraft navigational purposes and wrote a book about his adventures titled ''No Trophy, No Sword''. He was one of the founding members of the Israeli Air Force, and was instrumental in ensuring Israel's victory during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Livingston died in Westlake Village, California, on April 28, 2022, at the age of 97.
