Adam Driggs
Adam Dorsey Driggs (born April 22, 1965) is an American attorney, politician, and , a judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. Driggs previously served in both chambers of the Arizona State Legislature. Early life and education Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Driggs is the son of John D. Driggs. He has five siblings. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brigham Young University in 1990 and a Juris Doctor from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 1993. The Arizona State House of Representatives is the lower house of the Arizona Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Arizona. The upper house is the Senate. The Arizona State Senate is part of the Arizona Legislature, the state legislature of the US state of Arizona. The Senate consists of 30 members each representing an average of 219,859 constituents (2009 figures). Members serve two-year terms with term limits that limit Senators to four terms for a total of eight years. Members of the Republican Party are currently the majority in the Senate. There is currently 16 women serving in the Senate after Raquel Terán was appointed, making it the first time a majority of the body was composed of female members. As with the Arizona House of Representatives, members to the Senate are elected from the same legislative districts as House members, however one Senator represents the constituency, while for the House there are two Representatives per district.
