Bapi Das Baul
'Bapi' Das Baul is an 8th generation Baul performer of Bengali mystical folk music. He moved from Kolkata to Paris in 1993 and is now known for his fusion work with the groups Senses, Baul Bishwa, Zap Mamma, Fun-Da-Mental, trans global underground, State Of Bengal, Studio Pagol and others in the musical scenes of Paris and London. Bapi was taught to sing, dance, and play several instruments in his early childhood. He started singing with his parents and some baul brothers in the formation "Baul Bishwa" which means "the world of Bauls". Their concerts were invitations to discover their world, the world of ancient wandering minstrels from Bengal (India) who believe in simplicity in life and love. This philosophy is strongly reflected in their songs, that are all about love and joy. His father is Purna Das Baul Samrat, Chief Baul of Bengal. Bapi Bose
Bapi Bose (16 October 1909 – 3 August 1977), born Sailendra Mohan Bose, was an Indian cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Bengal. He was born in Calcutta and died in Bombay. Bose made two first-class appearances for the Indian University Occasionals, scoring a duck in the first innings in which he batted, against Ceylon, while the Occasionals finished marginally short of a hefty victory, as the match finished in a draw. Bapineuzumab (nicknamed "bapi") is a humanized monoclonal antibody that acts on the nervous system and may have potential therapeutic value for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and possibly glaucoma. Bappi Aparesh Lahiri (born Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri; 27 November 1952 – 15 February 2022), also known as Bappi Da was an Indian singer, composer and record producer. He popularised the use of synthesised disco music in Indian music industry and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks.
