''Bank Holiday'' (also known as ''Three on a Weekend'') is a 1938 British Drama (film and television), drama film directed by Carol Reed and starring John Davis Lodge, John Lodge, Margaret Lockwood, Hugh Williams and Kathleen Harrison. Sir Carol Reed (30 December 1906 – 25 April 1976) was an English film director and producer, best known for ''Odd Man Out'' (1947), '' The Fallen Idol'' (1948), ''The Third Man'' (1949), and '' Oliver!'' Linden Travers
Florence Lindon-Travers, known professionally as Linden Travers (27 May 1913 – 23 October 2001Ronald Bergan ), was a British actress. Life and career Travers was born in Houghton-le-Spring, County Durham, the daughter of Florence (née Wheatley) and William Halton Lindon-Travers. She was the elder sister of Bill Travers, and attended La Sagesse. She made her first stage appearance at the Newcastle Playhouse in 1933. The ''Daily Express'' is a national daily United Kingdom middle-market newspaper printed in tabloid format. Published in London, it is the flagship of Express Newspapers, owned by publisher Reach plc. It was first published as a broadsheet in 1900 by Sir Arthur Pearson. Michael Rennie (born Eric Alexander Rennie; 25 August 1909 – 10 June 1971) was a British film, television and stage actor, who had leading roles in a number of Hollywood films, including his portrayal of the space visitor Klaatu in the science fiction film ''The Day the Earth Stood Still'' (1951). Leonard Sharp (24 May 1890, Birkenhead, Cheshire – 24 October 1958, Watford, Hertfordshire) was an English actor. He was married to the actress Nora Gordon. Their daughter is the actress Dorothy Gordon. He was sometimes credited as Len Sharp. Sir Felix Edward Aylmer Jones, OBE (21 February 1889 – 2 September 1979) was an English stage actor who also appeared in the cinema and on television. Aylmer made appearances in films with comedians such as Will Hay and George Formby. Wilfrid Lawson (born Wilfrid Lawson Worsnop; 14 January 1900 – 10 October 1966) was an English character actor of screen and stage. Life and career Lawson was born Wilfrid Lawson Worsnop in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire.
