Dewan Nazrul
Dewan Nazrul is a Bangladeshi film director, lyricist, screenwriter and freedom fighter of Bangladesh Liberation War. Movie Direction Dewan Nazrul became involved in filmmaking as an apprentice in Ibn Mizan's movie Nagini Prem. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1974, he acted as the chief assistant director and lyricist in the film 'Daku Mansur. Since then he has been working as an assistant director in various films. Dewan Nazrul's first film was 'Asami Hajir as a main director. However, for some reason he could not finish the work of the film. Then in 1976 he started making Dost Dushman film. It was released in 1977. This is the first released film directed by Dewan Nazrul. The film became famous and Dewan Nazrul got a permanent seat as a director in Bengali movie arena. Ahmed Sharif
Ahmed Sharif (13 February 1921 – 24 February 1999) was an educationist, philosopher, critic, writer and scholar of medieval Bengali literature. He is recognized as one of the most outspoken atheist and radical thinkers of Bangladesh. Background Sharif was born on 13 February 1921 in Patiya, Chittagong District. His father was Abdul Aziz and his uncle was Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad, a prominent historian of Bangla literature. He did his master's and Ph.D. degrees in Bengali literature from the University of Dhaka, in 1944 and 1967 respectively. From 1945 to 1949, he taught at Laksham Nawab Faizunnessa College and later on at Feni College. From July 1949 to 17 December 1950 he worked as programme assistant at the Dhaka station of Radio Pakistan. Anwar Hossain (6 December 1931 – 13 September 2013) was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Siraj ud-Daulah in the Bengali film Nawab Sirajuddaula (1967). He appeared in nearly 500 movies in his 50-year career. He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film ''Lathial'' (1975) and Best Supporting Actor awards for the films again for ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1978) and ''Dayi Ke?'' The Shafii ( ar, شَافِعِي, translit=Shāfiʿī, also spelled Shafei) school, also known as Madhhab al-Shāfiʿī, is one of the four major traditional schools of religious law (madhhab) in the Sunnī branch of Islam. Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique (; born 1972), commonly known as Riaz, is a Bangladeshi film actor, producer, and television presenter who has appeared in more than 100 Bengali films in genres ranging from romance to action to comedies. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including three National Film Awards and seven Meril Prothom Alo Awards. He portrayed the famous literary character, Shuvro, created by Humayun Ahmed, in Daruchini Dip.
