Bangladeshi Cricket Team In The West Indies In 2014
The Bangladesh national cricket team toured the West Indies from August to September 2014 for a tour consisting of two Test matches, three Limited Overs International (LOI) matches and one Twenty20 International. In the previous tour by Bangladesh of the West Indies in 2009, Bangladesh "whitewashed" a weakened West Indies cricket team in both the Test and LOI series. Squads On 24 August 2014, the West Indies Cricket Board's Selection Panel named the 14-man squad for the 3rd and final Dhaka Bank ODI against Bangladesh and also has been added all-rounder Andre Russell to their squad for the third and final One-Day International against Bangladesh in St. Kitts. Mushfiqur Rahim
Mushfiqur Rahim ( bn, মুশফিকুর রহিম; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper in the Bangladesh Cricket Team. Mushfiqur started his international career in 2005 against England at the age of 16. He was made to play as a specialist batsman in the first Test match of his career. He thus became the youngest player to play at Lord's Cricket Stadium. Andre Dwayne Russell (born 29 April 1988) is a Jamaican who has played international cricket for West Indies and for Jamaica in domestic cricket as an all-rounder. Imrul Kayes ( bn, ইমরুল কায়েস; born 2 February 1987) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer who played for Khulna Division as a left-hand batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. Mohammad Anamul Haque Bijoy (born 16 December 1992) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a wicket-keeper and an opening right-handed batsman. Shane Shillingford, (born 22 February 1983) is a West Indian cricketer who plays first-class and List A cricket for the Windward Islands and Test cricket for the West Indies cricket team. On 4 March 2021 it was announced that Shillingford has joined Home Counties Premier League, Division 1 side Buckingham Town. Kemar Andre Jamal Roach (born 30 June 1988) is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies. He played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka and has represented the West Indies in Test and One Day International cricket. Jermaine Blackwood (born 20 November 1991) is a Jamaican cricketer. He made his Test cricket debut for the West Indies against New Zealand in June 2014.
