Bangladeshi Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2018–19
The Bangladesh cricket team toured New Zealand in February and March 2019 to play three Tests and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The ODI fixtures were part of both teams' preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The tour ended early, with the cancellation of the third and final Test match, following the Christchurch mosque shootings. The tour started two day after the conclusion of the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League, with Bangladesh's coach Steve Rhodes saying that it is "far from ideal preparation". Conversely, Bangladesh's wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim said it would be ideal preparation ahead of the World Cup, with New Zealand having conditions similar to those in England. Kane Stuart Williamson (born 8 August 1990) is a New Zealand cricketer who is currently the Captain (cricket), captain of the New Zealand national cricket team, New Zealand national team in limited overs cricket. 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League
The 2018–19 BPL season, also known as BPL 6 or UCB BPL 2019 Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), featuring seven teams from seven cities. Teams are restricted to having four overseas players per side, instead of five in the previous edition of the tournament. Rangpur Riders were the defending champions. Originally, the season was scheduled to start on 1 October 2018 and end on 16 November 2018. Thomas Ackland Blundell (born 1 September 1990) is a New Zealand cricketer. He made his international debut for the New Zealand national cricket team in January 2017. Todd Astle
Todd Duncan Astle (born 24 September 1986) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand national cricket team. Astle began his cricket career as an opening batsman, representing New Zealand in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, but over time playing first-class cricket for Canterbury, he morphed into a bowling all-rounder. Hagley Oval is a cricket ground in Hagley Park in the central city of Christchurch, New Zealand. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1867, when Canterbury cricket team hosted Otago cricket team. Canterbury used the ground infrequently from then through until the 1920s, but hardly stopped during World War I.
