Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan Cricket Grounds
There are four cricket grounds at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan national sports institute in Savar, Dhaka. As well as serving the needs of the BKSP's students, the grounds have also staged first-class and List A cricket matches in Bangladeshi domestic competitions since 2000, and several minor international matches. History The No 1 Ground was the first of the four grounds to be developed and was the first to be used for Bangladeshi domestic competitions in 2000. The facilities at the other three grounds have been upgraded in recent years with the help of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Grounds 2, 3 and 4 are now regularly used for first-class and List A cricket. They serve as neutral grounds in domestic competitions. Twenty20
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. The Dhaka Division cricket team is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Dhaka Division, one of the seven administrative regions in Bangladesh. 2016–17 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League
The 2016–17 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was the fourth edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh between April and June 2017. The tournament started on 12 April 2017 with player transfers beginning on 17 March 2017. Abahani Limited were the defending champions. The first part of the tournament was played as a round-robin, before progressing to the championship and relegation phase. In the first relegation play-off match, Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity defeated Partex Sporting Club by 8 wickets, therefore relegating Partex and Victoria Sporting Club to the Dhaka First Division Cricket League. The tournament was won by Gazi Group Cricketers, their first title. ICRC International T20 Cricket Tournament For People With Physical Disabilities
The ICRC International T20 Cricket Tournament was a five-team Twenty20 cricket competition for people with physical disabilities. It was held from 2–10 September 2015 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board, and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, it is the first multi team tournament of its kind. Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury ( bn, শুভাগত হোম চৌধুরী; born 11 November 1986) is a Bangladeshi cricketer, a right-handed batsman who represents Dhaka Division in first-class and list A cricket and Rajshahi Division in twenty20 matches. Farhad Reza ( bn, ফরহাদ রেজা; born 16 June 1986) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe in July 2006 and is the first batsman from Bangladesh to score a half century on ODI debut. Rajshahi Division Cricket Team
The Rajshahi Division cricket team is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Rajshahi Division, one of the country's seven administrative regions. The team competes in the National Cricket League and was formerly a participant in the now-defunct National Cricket League One-Day. The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as the Dhaka Premier League, is a club List A tournament in Bangladesh. History Since its inauguration in 1973–74 the league has been the premier club cricket competition in Bangladesh. It gained List A status starting with the 2013–14 tournament, thus superseding the National Cricket League One-Day as Bangladesh's main List A competition.
