Bangkok Glass Volleyball Club ( th, สโมสรวอลเลย์บอลบางกอกกล๊าส) was a Thai professional volleyball club based in Pathum Thani Province and was managed by BG FC Sport Co.,Ltd. which was a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Group of Companies. Bangkok Glass FC played in the Thailand League after their club was founded in 2014. Their home stadium was BG Sport Hall which has a capacity of 4,000. Bangkok Glass won their first Thailand League title in 2014–15 season and the Super League in 2015. In season 2014–15, Bangkok Glass were the triple champions winning the (2014–15 Thailand League, 2015 Thailand Super League, and 2015 Asian Club Championship). The club dissolved on May 8, 2018, due to severe differences between the club's policy and the national federation's policy about the national team, the latter considered to suffocate the professional clubs. 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 10th edition of the event. It was held for the first time in the Philippines, on 18–23 October 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. For the first time, eight teams competed, including four wild cards. FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021. The 2016 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship was the 17th staging of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, AVC Club Championships which was hosted by the Philippines. Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship
The Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Women's Club Tournament (between 1999 and 2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in Thailand. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. The winner of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Tianjin Bohai Bank holds the record for most victories, winning the competition five times. Teams from China have won the tournament eight times, the most for any nation. Women's Volleyball Pro Challenge ( th, วอลเลย์บอลหญิงโปรชาเลนจ์) is the second-tier professional league in Thai domestic volleyball tournament. The top 2 are promoted to Women's Volleyball Thailand League at the end of the season. Seasons run from July to September, with teams playing 6 games each.
