Avala Hejje
''Avala Hejje'' () is a 1981 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by H. R. Bhargava, starring Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Lakshmi, Dr. Ambrish and Dwarakish. This film is partially based on the 1978 Bollywood film '' Trishna'' which itself was remade from Tamil film ''Thoondil Meen''. It was remade in Telugu as ''Bandhalu Anubandhalu''. Lakshmi herself was the producer of the movie. Plot The film begins with a stranger chasing Seetha (Lakshmi) trying to molest her. A flashback shows that Lakshmi was Ambareesh's love interest before her marriage to Vishnuvardhan. Lakshmi is now happily married to Vishnuvardhan, who is a neurosurgeon. In the absence of Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh visits Lakshmi to threaten her. One day Lakshmi unintentionally fires the bullet from her husband's revolver to Ambareesh's forehead and he becomes unconscious. Sobhan Babu (born Uppu Sobhana Chalapathi Rao; 14 January 1937 – 20 March 2008) was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema.Bangaru Panjaram in Venditera Paatalu, Krishnasastri Sahityam, third volume, Vishalandhra Publishing House, Hyderabad, pp.78-82. Mahalakshmi (born 13 December 1952), known professionally as Lakshmi, is an Indian actress known for her works primarily in the southern film industry (distributing her acting career in almost each Dravidian language equally), along with some Hindi films. She made her film debut through a Tamil film '' Sri Valli'' in 1961. Her debut as an actress happened with the Tamil film '' Jeevanaamsam'' in 1968. Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath (17 July 1949 – 19 December 2015) was an Indian actor known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema, Telugu Theater, television, and a few Tamil films. In a film career spanning more than forty years, Ranganath starred in more than three hundred feature films in a variety of roles. He made his debut with the 1969 Telugu film ''Budhimantudu''. Mada Venkateswara Rao (4 June 1935 - 24 October 2015) was an Indian actor from Andhra Pradesh. He acted in more than 600 films. He played notable roles in the films ''Mutyala Muggu'', '' Lambadolla Ramdasu'', and '' Mayadari Malligadu''. He was known for his comedy roles. He worked as an engineer in the state civil department before becoming an actor. He entered theater as a stage artist and also worked as a cine journalist.
