Bandaloo Doctors
Bandaloo Doctors was a Los Angeles supergroup, playing their own "revolutionary hard-rockin' blues" - From 1988 until 1996 they became darlings of the media and a number of Hollywood celebrities. They toured until 1994, on their own, or paired with acts like Edgar Winter, The Fabulous T-Birds or John Mayall. The group even supported Ringo Starr & His All-Starrs for one tour. This hard rock / blues based foursome consisted of former Aerosmith guitar hero Jimmy Crespo; CSN&Y drummer Dallas Taylor; bassist/songwriter Danny Sheridan and his then wife, vocalist Bonnie Bramlett. The group's first recordings were composed and produced in 1986 with Sheridan's longtime friend Jonah Koslen, and released as the soundtrack for an episode of MGM's TV series F.A.M.E.' which guest starred Bramlett. Edgar Winter
Edgar Holland Winter (born December 28, 1946) is an American musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist, playing keyboards, guitar, saxophone, and percussion, as well as singing. His success peaked in the 1970s with his band the Edgar Winter Group and their popular songs "Frankenstein" and " Free Ride". He is the brother of late blues singer and guitarist Johnny Winter. Early life Winter was born to John Winter II and Edwina Winter on December 28, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas. Both he and his older brother Johnny were born with albinism. By the time he left the family home, Winter had already mastered numerous instruments and reading and writing music. John Mayall
John Mayall, OBE (born 29 November 1933) is an English blues singer, musician and songwriter, whose musical career spans over sixty years. In the 1960s, he was the founder of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, a band that has counted among its members some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians. Personal life Born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, in 1933, Mayall grew up in Cheadle Hulme. He was the son of Murray Mayall, a guitarist and jazz enthusiast. Jimmy Crespo (born July 5, 1954) is an American guitarist. He was the lead guitarist for Aerosmith from 1979 until 1984. He co-wrote "Rock in a Hard Place" with Steven Tyler, and has performed or recorded with Rod Stewart, Billy Squier, Meat Loaf, Stevie Nicks, Robert Fleischman, Rough Cutt, Renegade, Flame and others. Dallas Taylor (drummer)
Dallas Woodrow Taylor Jr. (April 7, 1948 – January 18, 2015) was an American session drummer who played drums on several rock albums throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Life and career Taylor was born in Denver but grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He achieved some success with psychedelic rock band Clear Light in the late 1960s, but is best remembered as the drummer on Crosby, Stills and Nash's debut album, and their follow-up with Neil Young, ''Déjà Vu'' (1970), and was given a front-sleeve credit along with Motown bassist Greg Reeves. Danny Sheridan
Danny Sheridan (October 11, 1950 – May 24, 2016) was an American musician, songwriter, producer, actor, and entertainment manager. In 2006 he also became a radio personality on 97.1 KLSX Free FM (CBS Los Angeles). He is credited as an influential electric bass player, and as the founder of the Eli Radish Band, pioneers of the so-called outlaw country music genre. This is a style that Sheridan's former band-mate/vocalist David Allan Coe continues to perform today, with a string of hit songs like "Would You Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone)" and the anti-boss tune, "Take This Job And Shove It". Still in his teens, Sheridan's Eli Radish toured with such notable acts as The Who and The Doors. Jonah Koslen is an American singer-songwriter and musician best known for his work with the Michael Stanley Band and Breathless in the 1970s and 1980s. Biography After graduating from Beachwood High School, Koslen joined the Cleveland, Ohio-based band, Snake Eyes, with former Eli Radish Band bassist Danny Sheridan. In 1974, he joined with Michael Stanley, Daniel Pecchio, formerly of Glass Harp, and Tommy Dobeck to form The Michael Stanley Band. During his tenure with the band, they released three albums for Epic Records and became popular in Northeast Ohio. Bruce Gary (April 7, 1951 – August 22, 2006) was an American musician who was best known as the drummer for the music group the Knack. He was nominated for two Grammy Awards as a stage performer, producer, and recording artist.
