"Banana" is a song by Brazilian singer Anitta featuring American singer Becky G. It was released through Warner Music Brasil on April 5, 2019, as the third single from Anitta's album '' Kisses'' (2019). It is Anitta and Gomez's second collaboration, following their feats on the remix of "Mala Mía" with Maluma released in 2018. Music video The music video was released alongside the song on April 5. It was directed by Lula Carvalho. Larissa de Macedo Machado (born March 30, 1993), known professionally as Anitta, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and television host. She is regarded as one of biggest Brazilians artists of all time, as one of the first artists in the country to have risen an international career. She rose to national fame with the release of her single "Show das Poderosas" in 2013. After achieving national commercial success with her debut profissional single "Meiga e Abusada" in 2012, she signed a recording contract with Warner Music Brazil in January 2013. The 26th ''Billboard'' Latin Music Awards ceremony, presented by ''Billboard'' magazine, honored the best performing Latin recordings of 2018 and took place on April 25, 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Rebbeca Marie Gomez (born March 2, 1997), known professionally as Becky G, is an American singer and actress. She first gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online.
