Bamunka
Bamunka is a small village of Cameroon located in the North West Region along the ring road from Bamenda. Bamunka Village is the Sub Divisional Headquarter of Ndop Central Subdivision and the Divisional Headquarter of Ngoketunjia Division. Bamunka village is located some 42 km away from Bamenda town on the Bamenda- Nkambe stretch of the ring road. The village has direct boundaries with Babungo, Baba I, Babessi, Bambalang, Bamessing, Bamali and with the Bello Sub Division. History Meukoh or Nkoh-chandeuh people is a village which became known as Bamunka upon the arrival of the Germans. Being one of the villages of Ngoketunjia Division, the Meukoh people just like other villages of Ngoketunjia Division have the names of their villages starting with "Ba" meaning the "people of". Bambalang (village)
Bambalang is a village located in the NorthWest Region of Cameroon. The village of Bambalang is one of the four villages that make up Ndop Central Sub Division and one of the thirteen villages that make up Ngoketunjia Division. Bambalang village saw most of its fertile land flooded upon the completion of the Bamendjin Dam in 1974 giving rise to some Islands like Mbissa, Nkeshie, Mbefekhu, Mishie and Mpayah. The Bamendjin Dam was constructed mainly to serve as a reservoir to feed the hydroelectric plant at Edéa. It was constructed across the Noun River, a tributary of the Sanaga River that operates the hydroelectric plant at Edea. Bamali

Babungo (village)
Babungo is one of the four villages of Babessi Sub Division, Ngoketunjia Division of the North West Region Cameroon. It is situated on the Ring Road from Bamenda about from Bamunka on the high plain of Ndop which is fertile and rich in water, intensely cultivated and surrounded by a ring of hills covered with pastures, making it an ideal grazing land. Baba I
Baba I village (Papiakum) is one of the four villages that make up Babessi subdivision and one of the thirteen villages of Ngoketunjia division of the North West region of Cameroon. Baba I village is located along the ring road from Bamenda some 50 km away from Bamenda town on the Bamenda-Nkambe stretch of the ring road just before one reaches Bamunka (Ndop town). Baba 1 has one of the highest population density with a population of over 35000. The village is at present suffering from rural exodus, as most of the inhabitants have moved to big cities like Bamenda, Douala and Yaounde. In September 2015, floods rendered thousands of villagers homeless after water overflowed its banks. The floods were blamed on the poor construction of part of the ring road without culverts. Bamessing
Bamessing village is one of four villages that make up Ndop central Central Sub Division, and one of thirteen villages of Ngoketunjia division of the North West region of Cameroon. Bamessing is located along the ring road from Bamenda, some 38 km from the town of Bamenda, on the Bamenda-Nkambe stretch of the ring road, just before Bamunka (Ndop town). Bamessing-Nsei is a traditional potter's village, with the pottery center of Prescraft, where traditional potters are encouraged to pursue their trade. In order to widen the product range, new techniques have been introduced, such as a potter's wheel, glazing, and wood kiln firing. Designers from Europe (Mission 21, Switzerland) help to develop new designs. Prescraft is committed to a sustainable environment. Prespot maintains a fuel plantation and also runs a reforestation program with the farmers in the area, funded by Mission 21, Switzerland. Bamenda, also known as Abakwa and Mankon Town, is a city in northwestern Cameroon and capital of the Northwest Region, Cameroon, Northwest Region. Babessi (village)
Babessi is one of the four villages that make up the Babessi Sub-Division, and the Babessi Sub-Division is one of three sub-divisions of Ngoketunjia Division of the North West Region of Cameroon with a population of 26,802. Habitat and wildlife The vegetation is savannah type with short stunted trees, palm trees, raffia palms, eucalyptus, kola and ''Pygeum africanum''.
