Bamboo Engineering
Craft-Bamboo Racing is an auto racing team. It was founded in 2014 after the merger of Craft Racing from Hong Kong and Bamboo Engineering from the United Kingdom. Craft Racing was established by Frank Yu in 2009 and was a front running team in Asian Championships for five years. Bamboo Engineering was formed in July 2009 in Silverstone following the departure of team director Richard Coleman from Tempus Sport. It finished third in the WTCC drivers championship in 2013, and also ran in the GP3 Series. Richard Coleman was removed from the team in 2017, and was sued in 2020. British Touring Car Championship Bamboo ran former Tempus driver Harry Vaulkhard in the 2009 British Touring Car Championship season, scoring several top 10 finishes to finish 16th overall in the championship. Frank Yu
"Frank" Yu Siu Fung (born 25 May 1963) is a Hong Kong racing driver currently competing in the GT Asia Series. He is a former TCR International Series driver, who made his debut in 2015. Racing career Yu began his career in 2008 in the Asia GT Championship. In 2010 he switched to the Clio Cup China Series. In 2010 Yu made his GT Asia Series debut, ending 3rd in the championship standings that year. In March 2015 it was announced that he would race in the first ever TCR International Series round in Sepang, driving for Craft-Bamboo Racing. 2015 GT Asia Series Season
The 2015 GT Asia Series was the sixth season of the GT Asia Series championship. It began on 16 May at the Korea International Circuit and ended on 2 November at the Guia Circuit after 11 championship races and a non-championship event. 2010 World Touring Car Championship Season
The 2010 World Touring Car Championship season was the seventh season of the FIA World Touring Car Championship, and the sixth since its 2005 return. It began with the Race of Brazil at Curitiba on 7 March and ended with the Guia Race of Macau at the Guia Circuit on 21 November, after twenty-two races at eleven events. The championship was open to both Super 2000 and Diesel 2000 cars. A new points system was introduced for the championship in 2010, in alignment with that used for both the Formula One World Championship and the World Rally Championship. The winner of each race received 25 points, continuing with 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point for 10th place. The 2009 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the fifth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It was held on 25 October 2009 at the Circuito Vasco Sameiro near Braga in Portugal. James Thompson won the event after winning the second race. Norbert Michelisz won the first race. 2009 British Touring Car Championship Season
The 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season was the 52nd British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. It began at Brands Hatch on the Indy layout on 5 April and finished after 30 races over 10 events on the Grand Prix layout at Brands Hatch on 4 October. Colin Turkington won the championship for the first time, ahead of Jason Plato and Fabrizio Giovanardi. The season also saw Airwaves BMW score their first win in the series when Rob Collard won the second race of the day at the opening meeting at Brands Hatch. Harry Vaulkhard (born 14 October 1985) is a British auto racing, racing driver. In 2010 he raced in the World Touring Car Championship for Bamboo Engineering. Career Early career Harry's father, Nigel Vaulkhard, was a successful businessman in the Tyneside area, owning and operating a number of bars, and was also a keen classic touring car racer. Tempus Sport are a former British motor sport team based in Milton Keynes. The team was set up in 2008, with a view to first start racing in 2009. Some of the personnel are former employees of experienced team RML, including team director Richard Coleman. Racing series BTCC In 2009, the team planned to enter two 2008 specification Chevrolet Lacettis in the British Touring Car Championship. Silverstone
Silverstone is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England. It is about from Towcester on the former A43 main road, from the M1 motorway junction 15A and about from the M40 motorway junction 10, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Banbury. The 2016 TCR International Series was the second season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini successfully defended his title, beating his nearest challenger James Nash by 2.5 points. James Winslow
James Winslow (born 16 April 1983) is a British professional car racing driver who races at Le Mans 24 Hours. A ten-time Motorsport champion member of the British Racing Drivers' Club, he competes in Europe, Australia & Asia in Le Mans LMP & GT cars.
