Ballynure Old Boys F.C.
Ballynure Old Boys Football Club, also known as Ballynure O.B., is an intermediate-level football club playing in the Premier division of the Ballymena & Provincial League in Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 1969. As well as the 1st team, the club also has 2nd team playing in the Junior Division 2 of the league. The club is based in Ballynure, County Antrim, but plays its home matches at Mossley Park, Carnmoney. Nigerian former Benfica striker Kevin Amuneke notably had a brief, incredibly successful spell at the club. The Ballymena and Provincial Football League is a regional football league in Northern Ireland. The Northern Ireland football league system is categorised into three levels: senior, intermediate and junior. Ballynure
Ballynure () is a village and civil parish near Ballyclare in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is part of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and had a population of 677 people in the 2001 Census. Carnmoney
Carnmoney () is the name of a townland (of 456 acres), electoral ward and a civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Carnmoney is within the urban area of Newtownabbey, in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area. It lies from Belfast city centre in the historic barony of Belfast Lower. Carnmoney is known throughout Belfast for its large graveyard. Carnmoney Cemetery sits on the slopes of Carnmoney Hill, a major landmark in the area, which also contains a woodland nature reserve. The poet Derek Mahon mentions Carnmoney Cemetery in his poem "My Wicked Uncle". Kevin Onyekachi Amuneke (born 10 May 1986) is a Nigerian footballer who currently play as a forward. He has previously spent most of his professional career in Europe, mainly in Portugal and Sweden. Club career Amuneke was born in Eziobodo. After starting out at S.L. Benfica and FC Porto, representing only the youth teams in the first case and the youths and the reserves in the second, he began his professional career in Sweden with Landskrona BoIS (where he played alongside brother Kingsley) and, after two years, returned to Portugal, appearing for Vitória F.C. in the Primeira Liga.
