''Cyber Force'' (sometimes stylized as ''CyberForce'' or ''CYBERFORCE'') is a comic book series created by writer and artist Marc Silvestri in 1992 through his publishing studio, Top Cow Productions, and published by Image Comics. Publication history Volume 1 ''Cyber Force'' was first published as a mini-series in October 1992 by Image Comics in association with Malibu Comics. Created by and illustrated by Marc Silvestri, the series was written by his brother, Eric Silvestri: "When the guys at Image and I were starting out, we weren't really sure what the reaction would be to our characters. So, just to play it safe, we decided to put out our projects as mini-series to test out the public reaction". Volume 2 After high sales for the mini-series, an ongoing series was launched in October 1993 with the Cyber Force #0 one-shot, which contained a script and art by Walter Simonson based on a plot by Marc and Eric Silvestri. Ballistic is a superhero published by DC Comics. He first appeared in ''Batman, Batman Annual'' #17 (1993), and was created by Doug Moench and Michael Manley. Publication history Ballistic first appeared in ''Batman Annual'' # 17 as a part of the ''Bloodlines (comics), Bloodlines'' event. He, along with most other Bloodline characters, never really caught on with readers and was relegated to occasional guest appearances and cameos. Fictional character biography Kelvin Mao is a Korean-American member of the Gotham City Police Department Tactical Unit sent to face Bloodlines Parasites, Angon, who was committing murders throughout the city. The entire squad is killed except Mao, who is bitten by Angon and receives massive injuries. Mao is placed in a body-cast at the hospital; this lasts until the alien's bite mutated him; a rare occurrence for bite victims. The alien's bite activates Mao's metagene and he is transformed into a large man with armored skin, superstrength, night visio ...
