Balkan Music Awards
The Balkan Music Award is an annual Balkan music award show held every year in different cities of the Balkans. The first edition of the show was held on May 16, 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, where many famous and young Balkan artists were awarded. Balkan
The Balkans ( ), also known as the Balkan Peninsula, is a geographical area in southeastern Europe with various geographical and historical definitions. The region takes its name from the Balkan Mountains that stretch throughout the whole of Bulgaria. The Balkan Peninsula is bordered by the Adriatic Sea in the northwest, the Ionian Sea in the southwest, the Aegean Sea in the south, the Turkish Straits in the east, and the Black Sea in the northeast. The northern border of the peninsula is variously defined. The highest point of the Balkans is Mount Musala, , in the Rila mountain range, Bulgaria. The concept of the Balkan Peninsula was created by the German geographer August Zeune in 1808, who mistakenly considered the Balkan Mountains the dominant mountain system of Southeast Europe spanning from the Adriatic Sea to the Black Sea. Aurela Gaçe
Aurela Gaçe (; born 16 October 1974) is an Albanian singer and songwriter. She is a three-time Festivali i Këngës winner, a three-time Kënga Magjike winner and a two-time Balkan Music Award winner for ''Balkan's Song of the Year'' and ''Best Singer from Albania''. She was a judge on the third season of ''The Voice of Albania''. In 2011, she won the 49th edition of Festivali i Këngës with the song "Kënga ime" and represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held in Düsseldorf, Germany. Life and career Aurela Gaçe was born on 16 October 1974 into an Albanian family in the village of Llakatund, Vlorë, then part of the People's Socialist Republic, present Albania. Endless (Inna Song)
"Endless" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Inna for her second studio album, ''I Am the Club Rocker'' (2011). The song was released on 25 November 2011 as the fourth single from the album. It was written and produced by Play & Win members Sebastian Barac, Radu Bolfea and Marcel Botezan. A flamenco-influenced mid-tempo club-ballad, "Endless" features an acoustic and Spanish guitar in its instrumentation. Music critics gave favorable reviews of the track, pointing it out as a highlight on ''I Am the Club Rocker''. At the 2011 Balkan Music Awards, the song won in the Best Song in the Balkans from Romania in 2011 category. To promote "Endless", an accompanying music video was shot by Alex Herron and uploaded onto Inna's YouTube channel on 24 November 2011 to positive response. Makbule Hande Özyener (born 12 January 1973), better known by her stage name Hande Yener, is a Turkish singer. Sinan Akçıl (born 20 May 1982) is a Turkish composer, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is known for producing Hadise's Eurovision 2009 song for Turkey, called "Düm Tek Tek". Giorgos Giannias
Giorgos Giannias (Greek: Γιώργος Γιαννιάς, d. June 13, 1821 near Koumani) was a Greek revolutionary leader born in Prostovitsa, a village now known as Drosia in Achaia. He was the brother of Konstantinos Giannias. In March 1821, he entered as one of the first in the revolution with a small strategic army. He gave all the battles and mainly the Turks from Lalas. On March 27, he battled with 1,500 Turks in the Katsaros narrows in which 120 Turks died. Many folk music brought into his heroic battle. Next to the location in which the battle of Antroni (Spartoulia - Σπαρτουλιά) in which had a memory in honor of him.
