Bal Chandra Misra
Bal Chandra Misra (born 17 July 1942) is an Indian politician and former cabinet minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Life He was elected four times as MLA from Govind Nagar (Assembly constituency), Govind Nagar assembly seat of Kanpur which is the largest assembly seat in Asia as BJP candidate. After 1996 election, CM Kalyan Singh made him minister in his cabinet. He was also minister in Rajnath Singh, Raj Nath Singh cabinet for the department of Food & Civil Supplies and Labour. He was later made regional president of BJP unit Kanpur zone. He is known to take tough decisions with ease and not bowing down to corruption and inappropriate orders from senior leaders. Ballia
Ballia is a city with a municipal board in the Indian States and union territories of India, state of Uttar Pradesh. The eastern boundary of the city lies at the junction of two major rivers, the Ganges River, Ganges and the Ghaghara River, Ghaghara.The city is situated east of Varanasi and about 380 km from the state capital Lucknow. 1984 Sikh Massacre
The 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, also known as the 1984 Sikh Massacre, was a series of organised pogroms against Sikhs in India following the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards. Government estimates project that about 2,800 Sikhs were killed in Delhi and 3,350 nationwide, whilst independent sources estimate the number of deaths at about 17,000–30,000. The assassination of Indira Gandhi itself had taken place shortly after she had ordered Operation Blue Star, a military action to secure the Harmandir Sahib Sikh temple complex in Amritsar, Punjab, in June 1984. The operation had resulted in a deadly battle with armed Sikh groups who were demanding greater rights and autonomy for Punjab. Sikhs worldwide had criticized the army action and many saw it as an assault on their religion and identity. Murli Manohar Joshi (born 5 January 1934) is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of which he was the President between 1991 and 1993, and the former Member of Parliament for Kanpur parliamentary constituency. He was formerly a professor of physics in University of Allahabad. He was one of the key leaders of the BJP. Joshi later became the Union Human Resources Development minister in the National Democratic Alliance government. Kalyan Singh
Kalyan Singh (5 January 1932 – 21 August 2021) was an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served twice as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Member of Parliament. He was the Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh during the demolition of the Babri Masjid in December 1992. He was considered an icon of Hindu nationalism, and of the agitation to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya. Singh became a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while still in school.
