Baku International Tourism Film Festival
The Baku International Tourism Film Festival ( az, Bakı Beynəlxalq Turizm Filmləri Festivalı), is an international film festival in Azerbaijan. It is a non-profit cultural event that takes place every year. The first edition of the Festival was held in 20–24 November 2013, at the Nizami Cinema Center in Baku. Baku (, ; az, Bakı ) is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. Azerbaijani () or Azeri (), also referred to as Azeri Turkic or Azeri Turkish, is a Turkic language from the Oghuz sub-branch spoken primarily by the Azerbaijani people, who live mainly in the Republic of Azerbaijan where the North Azerbaijani variety is spoken, and in the Azerbaijan region of Iran, where the South Azerbaijani variety is spoken. Nizami Cinema Center
The Nizami Cinema Center is a multiscreen cinema in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was built in 1940 and re-opened in 2011.
