Bakhtior Kalandarov
Bakhtior Kalandarov (born 14 June 1992) is a Tajik professional footballer who plays as a defender for Regar-TadAZ in the Tajik League. Career Club On 25 July 2019, FC Istiklol released Kalandarov by mutual consent. Aizawl On 23 February 2022, Kalandarov made his move to India and signed with I-League club Aizawl on a season-long deal. He made his debut for the club, on 8 March 2022, against Rajasthan United, which ended in a 1–0 defeat. International Kalandarov made his senior team debut on 2 October 2018 against Nepal in their 2–0 win. 2019 FC Istiklol Season
The FC Istiklol 2019 season was Istiklol's eleventh Tajik League season. They were defending Tajik League and Cup Champions, whilst also participating in the Tajik Supercup, AFC Champions League and AFC Cup. Istiklol defended their Tajik League and Tajik Cup titles, whilst also winning the Tajik Supercup. In continental competitions they were knocked out of the AFC Champions League at the Preliminary round 2 stage by AGMK, and then at the group stage of the AFC Cup. Season Events On 3 December 2018, Khakim Fuzailov was announced as Istiklol's new manager. On 27 June, Fuzailov resigned as manager after Istiklol to progress from the group stages of the AFC Cup, with Alisher Tukhtaev being appointed as Caretaker Manager in his place. 2019 Tajik Super Cup
The 2019 Tajik Supercup was the 10th Tajik Supercup, an annual Tajik football match played between the winners of the previous season's Tajik League and Tajik Cup. The match was contested by 2018 League and Cup champions Istiklol, and the league runners-up Khujand. It was held at the Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe on 29 March 2019 with Istiklol winning the match 3–0. Istiklol took the lead through a Ruslan Koryan penalty in the 38th minute, both Koryan got his and Istiklol's second in the 50th minute. Koryan was replaced by Shahrom Samiev in the 58th minute, with the substitute going on to score the third and final goal of the game in the 90th minute to secure Istiklol their 8th Supercup. The 2021–22 I-League (also known as Hero I-League for sponsorship reasons) is the 15th season of I-League, last as the top tier of Indian football league system, since its establishment in 2007.
