Bakary Koné (, born 27 April 1988) is a Burkinabé former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Club career Early career Koné played on youth side for CFTPK Abidjan and joined in 2004 to Etoile Filante where he began his professional career in 2005. Guingamp In July 2006 Koné signed for En Avant de Guingamp. He played his first game for Guingamp on 11 May 2007 against Tours FC in the Ligue 2. Whilst at Guingamp, then in Ligue 2, Koné played in the 2009 Coupe de France Final in which they beat Rennes. After making 112 appearances for the club from five seasons, he was signed by Lyon in 2011. Lyon Koné joined Olympique Lyonnais on 11 August 2011 and signed a five-year deal for 3.8 million euro transfer fee. Bakary Sako (born 26 April 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Super League Greece club Levadiakos. He has previously played for English League clubs Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and West Bromwich Albion. From 2014 to 2017, he played for the Mali national team. Bakary Soro (born 5 December 1985) is a Burkinabé professional footballer who recently played as a defender for Şanlıurfaspor. He has represented the Ivory Coast at under-20 level and Burkina Faso in an exhibition game. Career Soro was raised in Anyama, the same Abidjan suburb as Ivorian internationals Arouna and Bakari Koné, and in similar fashion to the latter, began his career at homeland club ASEC Mimosas, coming through their famed Académie de Sol Beni youth academy, run by Jean-Marc Guillou, before moving on to the ASEC first team. He played professionally in the United States, France, Germany and Canada, and earned twelve caps for the Mali national team.
