Yu Baiwei (, also romanized as Yu Beiwei; born 17 July 1988), also known by the Western name Berry Yu, is a Chinese ice hockey player and captain of the Chinese national team and the Shenzhen KRS in the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL). A three-time medalist at the Asian Winter Games, she represented China in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL) was a women's hockey league in Canada. The league was established in 2004, and consisted of teams in Canada (some former National Women's Hockey League teams) and one from the United States. Canadian Women's Hockey League
The Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL; french: Ligue canadienne de hockey féminin ‒ LCHF) was a women's ice hockey league. Established in 2007 as a Canadian women's senior league in the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, and Ottawa, the league eventually expanded into Alberta, as well as teams in China and the United States throughout its tenure. The women's tournament in ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held in Beijing, China between 3 and 17 February 2022. Ten countries qualified for the tournament; six of them did so automatically by virtue of their ranking by the International Ice Hockey Federation, one, China, automatically qualified as hosts, while the three others took part in a qualification tournament. In ice hockey, the captain is the player designated by a team as the only person authorized to speak with the game officials regarding rule interpretations when the captain is on the ice.
