Bailey's Prairie is a village in Brazoria County in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 727 at the time of the 2010 U.S. census. Established in 1818, the village is named for the pioneer James Briton "Brit" Bailey (1779–1832). Geography Bailey's Prairie is located in central Brazoria County at (29.158084, –95.491051). Texas State Highway 35 runs through the town, leading east to Angleton, the county seat, and west to West Columbia. Angleton High School
Angleton High School is a public high school located just outside the city of Angleton, Texas, United States in unincorporated Brazoria County. It is classified as a 5A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It is a part of the Angleton Independent School District located in south central Brazoria County. In 2015, the school was rated " Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. Several previous school locations were destroyed by hurricanes. The high school was once located in what is now Central Elementary, as well as the former Angleton Intermediate School.
