Hexiwu
Hexiwu Town (), formerly known as Ho-Hsi-Wu, is a town situated on the northern part of Wuqing District, Tianjin, China. It borders Yongledian and Anping Towns to the north, Qiantun Township and Xiawuqi Town to the east, Damengzhuang and Daliang Towns to the south, as well as Baigutun and Gaocun Towns to the west. In the year 2010, the town was home to 45,814 residents. This town got the name Hexiwu () for its location on the west of the Grand Canal and hosting local taxation agency during the Yuan Dynasty. People's Commune
The people's commune () was the highest of three administrative levels in rural areas of the People's Republic of China during the period from 1958 to 1983, until they were replaced by townships. Communes, the largest collective units, were divided in turn into production brigades and production teams. The communes had governmental, political, and economic functions during the Cultural Revolution. Sicundian Town () is a town in the western portion of Wuqing District, Tianjin, China. It borders Baigutun Town in its north, Damengzhuang and Nancaicun Towns in its east, Dongpuwa Subdistrict and Douzhangzhuang Town in its south, as well as Dongmaquan and Chengguan Towns in its west. Damengzhuang Town () is a town located inside of Wuqing District, Tianjin, China. It borders Hexiwu Town in its north, Daliang Town in its east, Nancaicun Town in its south, as well as Sicundian and Baigutun Towns in its west. It had a population of 22,162 as of 2010. Gaocun, Wuqing
Gaocun (), formerly Gaocun township (), is a town in Wuqing District in the northwest of Tianjin Municipality. It is located half-way between the city centres of Beijing and Tianjin at the Gaocun exit on the Jingjintang Expressway. Gaocun was promoted from village status to township status in 2013 at around the same time when the region underwent rapid development. Beijing Capital Land has invested billions of Chinese yuan into the Gaocun area by building a Science Park, an international school called Haileybury International School, Wisdom Plaza and Jingjinhui entertainment complex.
